Kaicho wa Maid-sama! - 04

Forgive me if I'm a bit incoherent…..I'm not really in the mood to write something or even to anything beside watch but I did my best ;D

Impression:

If I were one of the girls who saw Usui cooking I would probably have the same faces the girls had that time but with more drool from my mouth hahaha!!! Usui Takumi sure looks hot while cooking specially when he broke that egg…..prieceless. Aoi Hyoudo came to the shop and as expected with the guys there they fell head over heels to her but what they didn't know is that he's a trap. Why are traps usually more attractive than female protagonist in the story but I still prefer Misaki-chan over him. I really enjoyed the part when Aoi tries to get the attention of Usui but he always get ignored. Specially the part when Usui made a scene then Misaki saw it and I think she became jealous and punched Usui,as expected of our Misaki-chan whatever reaction she gives us is awesome. The reason why Usui keeps ignoring him is because he already know that Aoi was a guy. As for Misa-chan I think she realized that Aoi is a guy when she lifted him up like a kid. I'm really surprised that Misaki's interaction with Aoi is quite different unlike when she's with the guys from her school. She's more open to Aoi even though she knows he's guy, maybe because Aoi is younger than her. Thanks to Aoi we were able to see the soft side of our tsundere heroine. Seeing Misaki getting caught up because of those sale notebooks, croquettes and free tissue is very refreshing because if my memory is correct those scenes are not in the manga.

I really agree to what Misaki said, "Being yourself is the most important thing" because if your not yourself then who the hell are you. If you like something and other people are harassing you because of it ignore them because who the hell are they to decide what you would like. Go Aoi!! Even though your parents are against your hobby pursue your dream.

Sure Misaki isn't acting as a girl but she's still a girl and Usui will point that out in the next episode (I hope I'm not mistaken) but Misaki will surpass Usui expectations and he'll be entertained again with Misaki's action. Oooppss spoilers haha!!

Until then…

Vampire Knight Bonus Night - Juuri-sama please kick me too!! XD

Scans courtesy of SGK

Awww….how heart warming I really enjoyed reading this side story of VK. Oh btw don't continue reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

This side story is all about why chairman Cross loves taking pictures. This story started with the Kiryuu twins asking chairman Cross why he likes taking pictures then chairman Cross then muse over his past. Now I know why chairman was called a vampire without fangs, it is because he has a unusual amount of vampire genetic materials in him. While he was hunting vampires he encountered Juuri and attacked her saying this like he will kill all vampires so that his curse would end with them. Juuri tried to explain to him that she was there to kill that vampire who's hunting in Isaya's territory but chairman won't stop so Juuri gave him her "Pure Blood Kick of Doom". With that Juuri didn't knocked him out but at least he stopped attacking and Juuri could talk to chairman and Haruka came to the scene. Then we go back to the scene where chairman was explaining all those things to the Kiryuu twins and he even said that there, he found love at first sight. So the reason why chairman loves taking pictures is because when the time he had realized that he had so many pictures of himself making unpleasant faces and yet his precious ones died without leaving a single photo of them.

I'm now going into 'Kyaa!!' 'Kyaa!!' fangirl mode with random rumblings…….

OMG!!! Does that mean that during their(Juuri, Cross etc.) generation there is a probable love quadruple with JuurixHarukaxRidoxCross????? Oh I want more stories about those four. I'm really surprised and thankful that Juuri and Haruka made an appearance in this bonus chapter since I like their story in the previous bonus chapter. Juuri is just so hot no wonder all those guys are after her :))

I really like the part when chairman and Juuri met. It's really funny specially the part when Juuri said that Kaien must be dumb to think that he would try to catch a super young girl like her. Then Kaien said "Ha??!! Young girl but what age are you?" then Haruka arrived and asked with a smiling face "do you any complaints against my wife?" Juuri and Haruka have some cute loveydovey moments while Kaien was left at the corner being ignored. So…chariman Cross is as emo as Zero before….hahaha!!! Step father just like step son....How adorable I hope I get to see more of their stories later on.

Love it Hino-sensei….thank you so much :D

Oh btw I already saw the raw and summary of VK 60…all I could say is awesome!!!! It has a lot of sexy scenes XD...Though I hope that Zero stop his emo attitude and go kiss and show his love to Yuuki . I didn't like it that he carried Yuuki like she is a sack T_T when she was injured like that. Now I'm torn between Zero and Kaname I don't know who to support. I originally like ZeroxYuuki pairing but Zero is making things more difficult by being so darn bitter to the world. Kaname on the other hand….I'm starting to feel sorry for him because of what he had endure when Yuuki didn't have her memories. I know….I'll be YuukixZeroxKaname fan from now on. Whoever gets Yuuki's hand, I will certainly support him.

Can't wait for VK60 to be scanlated!!!

Until then…

Kaicho wa Maid-sama! - 03

Impression:

Sorry for the late post…I'm waiting for Eclipse Subs' release of this but they haven't released it yet so I FFFpeeps subs will do. I got carried away again so more screencaps than usual ^_^

In this episode we have a lot of moe moments from our Misaki-chan. Twin-tails (MOE!!!), embarrassed Misaki (MOE!!!), hard working Misaki (MOE!!!), White sentai Misaki (MOE!!!) and many more. Thank you so much J.C. Staff I could die right now….no just joking I still want to watch the next episode.

This time around there's a new event at the maid café and its Sister Day so all the maids there would be acting and dressing as a maid imouto (little sister). Manager Satsuki asked our Misaki to try acting as a little sister and Honoka's there to teach her but she fails miserably and said that she might not attend that event then here comes out Dark Honoka telling her rude things like "There's a limit to it you conceited little girl". Like I said from the previous post, I'm quiet irritated with Honoka because on outside she acts all cute but inside, she's really evil but still I'm thankful for her because without her we won't see our Misaki working hard for the café and even realizing her flaws. The day of the Sister Day came and here's Misaki acting like a little sister based from her research. Thank goodness Usui's there to tease Misaki and then we got our tsudere imouto!!!! XD

This episode is not only focused on Misaki but also at Usui as he gradually falls for Misaki and he even takes care of her even though Misaki always brushes off his attempts. At school, there's a girl who confessed to Usui and as the girl confesses, Usui saw Misaki saving a guy from falling and getting flattened by a ladder so he immediately rejected the girl by telling her that he's an otaku who loves maids then he went to see Misaki. At the clinic, Usui bandaged Misaki's injured arm and while they were talking Misaki said that she's willing to protect the guys and even Usui and Usui made a love-struck face.

Oh let's not forget Misaki's white sentai maid clothes….hot!! Nice one Usui, white really fits Misaki *thumbs up*.

It seems that the anime is not following the manga timeline it’s a pity but its fine because I sure want to see Chapter 32 animated…..ohhh can't wait :D

Until then…

Kampfer Short Review

Sure it has a LOT of fan service and ecchi moments but it was enjoyable you'll just have to forgive its flaws to fully enjoyed it. I think I would have a negative review on this if I have followed it weekly. I really like the character designs but I hate that the animation was sloppy so often times the character's appearance is not that appealing. As for the story it was good for my expectation but you'll have to forgive that its predictable. The ending in episode 11 is left open and I kinda like to know what will happen next since it felt that it have been cut short and yet they wasted the last episode, sigh. I expect this show to suck totally but I given it a chance and I was rewarded. For the music and bgm it's mediocre I never really liked the OP and ED. The plus of the series is its characters I liked them since you can't find those characters usually on other anime. My favorite character would be Shizuku I didn't expect a student council president to be that aggressive and also the character of Akane because even though being a librarian her kampfer self speaks rudely. Another plus is the voice actors that voiced the characters they surprisingly fit their characters and I can't imagine the likes of Yui Horie voicing the foul-mouthed Akane, Inoue Maria also voicing the male Natsuru, Noto Mamiko and Nana muzuki voicing a weird stuff animal. Overall, it was enjoyable but you'll have to adjust your expectations to a very low level and you'll have to forgive the cliché story and the sloppy animation.

Until then…

Kaicho wa Maid-sama - 02

Impression:

This time we're having a school festival and class 2-2 is still not able to submit a decent proposal to Misa-chan and as expected she was on demon mode again and keeps on rejecting every proposal by the guys of class 2-2. If I were a guy I would have gotten pissed at Misaki because of her being biased with the girls. Sure I like Misa-chan ruling the school with an iron fist because it keeps the hard-headed guys in line but if she won't listen to them and if she keeps that man-hater attitude then most of the school population won't listen to her. Thank goodness she was able to overcome that in this episode because of manager Satsuki's speech, Honoka and of course Usui's help. Speaking of Honoka, I really find her irritating sometimes in the manga because she acts all cute and nice but sometimes dark Honoka's comments are quiet harsh but I got to admit that because of her criticizing Misaki, Misaki was able to improve her character.

J.C. Staff sure gave us a lot of Misaki eye candy in this episode and I expect more in the future episodes. There are a lot of Misaki moe moe moments just like the previous episodes so I can't blame the three idiots for visiting the Café Latte every day.

Overall I would say that I've enjoyed yet again this episode of Maid-sama and I think it is a really good adaptation so far since it is very loyal to the manga with just a little addition to it to improve the material from the manga but I do think that the manga version of Misaki is hotter than the anime version. I wonder if they would continue to animate this a chapter for an episode because if that would continue I can see season 2 coming.

Oh btw I got carried away so I've uploaded more screen shots than usual XD..

Until then…

Kaicho wa Maid-sama! - 01

OP: My Secret by Mizuno Saaya

The OP was fine and it suits the theme of the show and gives it a very shoujo feel to it. I really like the animation that accompanied that songs because it seems that it indicates what we would expect in this show.

Impression:

I know I said I won't be blogging but I can't help it I really like the first episode of this series hahaha!!!!

That was a really good pilot episode I really enjoyed it. I like the shoujo feel of this series and I really like Misaki, oh crap I'm really a sucker with tsudere characters. The maid costume really suits Misaki and it shows her cute and vulnerable side. Usui on the other hand looks and acts sexy and he doesn't even know that he liked Misaki. Those are really good elements that indicate that this would be one of the shows that I will really enjoy. I noticed that this kinda reminds me of the combination of Special A and Skip Beat. The animation and character design reminds me of Skip Beat and Usui and Misaki pairing and their competition with grades reminds me of Special A but I think this series will eventually follow a different path than those two series I metioned.

ED: Yokan by Heidi

The ED song on the other hand was also fine but I think it will grow on me eventually. The animation that accompanied the ED is full of Usui hotness and also I like the pictures of Misaki in the ED specially the picture with her hair tied up, she's so adorable.

Oh I will surely follow this one every week even though I still have to finish watching my on hold show.

Until then,

Clannad After Story......SUGOI!!!

***SPOILERS AHEAD SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO BE SPOILED DON'T READ THIS***

Wow at last I was able to finish the series and all I could say is it is a wonderful series and it ended with a high note. I think it’s a good thing that I marathon this series because I was able to absorb the story and the characters fully unlike if I watched it weekly, I often forgot what happened on the episodes on the previous week. I laugh, cried and cried more. Thank goodness no one was around when I watched this series or else I will be a laughing stock at home because of my face which probably has swollen eyes and a snotty nose. I cant help but cry when Nagisa died and whenever Tomoya remembers Nagisa or when he cries I just also cry. I really though that she will stay dead, it’s a good thing the series pulled a deus ex machina ending or else I will literally cry my eyes out.

The characterization is really amazing, all of the characters had a chance to be developed specially Nagisa, Tomoya and let's not forget the annoying but cute Fuuko. I am very happy that Nagisa and Tomoya's relationship is the focus of the most part of this series. I also have to praise the bgm used in this series, it suits the scenes and it was able to evoket he proper emotions during a certain scenes. As for the flow of the story, the first series didn't have much impact than this one mainly because it was mostly building up the story and the characters. Now, when the characters have been fleshed out the dramatic turning of events started and it is really amazing it really worked out and everything fell into place. As for the animation, it is of course good as expected of KyoAni. Overall, that was a fun ride it is really entertaining and enjoyable and I recommend it to people who likes series that have a combination of drama, comedy, romance, slice of life, a bit of mystery and of course let's not forget hot girls.

Love it!! I will surely remember this series and it is now included in my top 10 favourite anime of all time.

Until then…
