Spring 2011 Anime Preview

With last season’s impressive shows somehow I find this season a bit of a let down but that’s just a first impression since its not airing yet so we shall see as the series airs whether they are good or what. With a total of 44 shows this season this season sure is jam packed compared to last spring’s 23 shows.

*edit: btw to those who doesn't know who Sonico is, she's the attractive mascot of the game company Nitroplus..

*edit2: WHAT??!! So this OP is a spin-off of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica?! Well, that's according to MAL.

According to the official website, a new Mahou Shoujo TV anime series produced by Shaft and directed by Shinbou Akiyuki has been announced, entitled "Mahou Shoujo Sonico★Magica." In addition, the opening animation to the new series has been released on their official youtube channel. More details are expected to be announced.

I'm a bit wary of this news since today is April 1 so maybe this is an April Fool's joke? Nevertheless if that's the case then, I want ep 11 & 12 first before hearing this news.

If Madoka will have a sequel and if it’ll be brought to the big screen I’ll probably go to Japan just to watch it….haha! just joking. Even if I’ll go to Japan, I won’t understand the movie since there’s no subs
