OP: Kimi ni Todoke (きみにとどけ) by Tanizawa Tomofumi
Impression:
If you have read my fall review then you know that I've read the manga of Kimi ni Todoke. It was loyal to the manga and it still good. I think Noto Mamiko is a suitable seiyuu for Sawako. Production I.G.'s animation is really good the watercolor hues is so comfortable with the eyes but I don't quite like it when Sawako transforms into her chibi version and I can't blame them since that's present in the manga also. I think they do that so that people won't first notice that Sawako is one hot chick.
I really like Kimi ni Todoke mainly because I can symphatize with Sawako. She is easily misunderstand by the people around her. It shows that if you should have the guts to open up to people you'll also be able to clear up those understandings. Another aspect why I like this series is because of I like love stories specially to the ones I can relate with.
I love the OP song more than the ED mainly because it's catchy. The ED on the other hand didn't grow on me. Btw, the OP and ED sequence is also accompanied by very gorgeous art works.
I hope I get to see more non-SD Sawako in future episodes. And just like what Thingle said, why does people get scared with Sawako when she's really that pretty. Well maybe because the concept of beauty is relative, wth I've applied my lessons from my humanities subject?? lolz...
until then...
