Suzumiya Haruhi-chan - 01

Impression:

This is the anime version of the manga with the same title and I'd been hearing that its good so I decided to watch this. The episode is not that funny but still there were some scenes where I giggled. I missed the way Haruhi bullies Mikuru thank God I was able to see once again. The voice cast was still the same as in the original series and they're still awesome. I hope the animation was a little better to compliment the voice cast. Oh well, I think KyoAni is busy with Clannad, Munto, K-ON! and Suzumiya-chan so its inevitable.

Still looking forward to the next episode to satisfy my haruhi cravings..

Haruhi Suzumiya 2 to be launched on April?

A television advertisement for the March issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine has reportedly revealed that the "true" relaunch of the Haruhi Suzumiya anime series will premiere on television in April. The March issue will ship on February 10, and the television advertisement can been viewed for now on Nico Nico Douga website. (Nico Nico requires viewers to register in Japanese.)


According to the cover, the magazine will detail the staff and story of the new anime project based on Nagaru Tanigawa and Noizi Ito's Haruhi Suzumiya light novels. The issue will also have an interview with "Brigade Leader's Assistant" Yasuhiro Takemoto. Takemoto was an episode director on the first television series, while the Haruhi Suzumiya character is the fictional "brigade leader" of the franchise.
Tanigawa wrote the original light novels about an eccentric, assertive girl who creates her own school club ("S.O.S. Brigade") to plan and execute her strange antics. America's Little, Brown Books for Young Readers will publish the light novels in English starting this April, while Yen Press is publishing Gaku Tsugano's manga version. The first television anime series aired in Japan in 2006, and Bandai Entertainment released it in North America in 2007.


Since the first series, the creators have been dropping hints about more anime projects. One of the first indications came in a cryptic December 2007 website update that listed Takemoto as the director of a new project and hinted at a story based on the fourth light novel, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Another web update last May relisted Takemoto as the "brigade leader's assistant."


Two spinoff manga, Puyo's Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yūutsu four-panel gag manga and Eretto's Nyorōn Churuya-san parody manga, are being adapted into web anime that will premiere on February 13.

Update 2: The J-Cast News website reports that it contacted a public relations representative from the Kadokawa Shoten Animation Group, and the representative said the group is absolutely not making an announcement now. On the topic of the April television debut, the representative reportedly said, "It is a rebroadcast. It is broadcasting mainly on Teletama and other UHF stations." Thanks, Tofusensei.

Hmmm...is this true? Well if not I'm gonna kill KyoAni!! Well I really hope that this April we'll get to see Haruhi on our tv/computer screens. It seems that the source of info (which is New Type) is quite reliable. The advetisment video on NicoNico was even voiced by Aya Hirano. Oh well, I hope they stick to their word *cross fingers*.

*edit* Sigh....KyoAni...I just don't care anymore....I still love Haruhi though, it's just that I'm not keeping my hopes high about the second season..

Kara no Kyoukai 5....incredible, marvelous, awesome...wow!!!

Ok this will be quick 'cause I still have to finish my Chapter 3...

OMG!!! As usual Kara no Kyoukai is still awesome!!! The animation is superb, the fight scenes, camera angle...etc... it's all still awesome, marvelous!!! I think this is the best Kara no Kyoukai film so far (it's even better than the 3rd one can you imagine that...). The last movie was also cool but there were not enough fight scenes but there were some things that were cleared up. Azaka made an apperance and on the preview she is so moe!!! I just noticed that Shiki, in this movie, she smiles a lot and she has cute antics here. Wow......I'm speechless...its just too awesome. I hope you watch it :P...

(btw I forgot to mention that there were a lot of blood and gore in this movie.....so bloody but so cool!!! LOL)

Ga-Rei - 11

Impression:
There was a cool fight scene between Yomi and Kagura’s father. Even though it’s quite short, I still found it cool. Well, I’ll blame Kagura for cutting the fight short though I can’t blame her for not killing Yomi. After that almost the entire episode was spend on Kagura’s father and daughter bonding..

I will not forget the fight scene of the director and Yomi. I think I slipped off my seat when the director’s wheelchair transformed into a chariot with blade. I tolerated the iron weapon, the drill, the suitcase but this? What the heck? I think it should have been better if she just hold the blades instead of putting them on the side of the wheelchair, it just looked ridiculous.

I thought the writers are gonna kill both the director and Kiri but they didn’t. Instead, both of them had an amnesia.. Why didn’t the writer killed them off? Are they planning on putting them in another sequel? I’m just wondering since they killed off tons of people already but now…wtf?

Overall, a very crazy episode and I think it’s decent enough. I hope the final episode will have a good conclusion but still I hope there would be a sequel.

Btw, I apologize again by the late release...I thought my schedule would be free but because of our thesis I'm very busy (Our prof is rushing us -_-). I will continue blogging when I have a spare time but I think I will be blogging regularly when there's no classes. Sigh...I have to submit the Chapter 3 on wed and Chap 4 on fri and tom I have a quiz so I expect that I would be busy. Gomen...

Maria+Holic - 01

I've watched the early broadcast version of Maria+Holic but because of my busy schedule I wasn't able to blog it but at last I'm going release a blog about the first episode

Impression:
All I could say about this episode is "Wow...that was just awesome" and with those words I was left impressed by the series. I don't know if I've watched a SHAFT series before but the style they used in this show was so artistic. OMG!!! Mariya is so moe but what the heck...she's a guy. I thought this is another Yuri series but wow, its not and I think Mariya is not you're average tramp. I think this show is trying to ridicule Marimite but I don't hate them for that. This episode is so hilarious from Kanako's rants, Mariya, Matsurika and dorm leader calling herself god, the characters are interesting and cool. Mariya's torturing and blackmailing made me giddy...LOL torture me Mariya!! The seiyuu of Mariya has done a very good job in voicing a male Mariya and a kind Mariya and Matsurika's voice is sexy.

Overall, a very brilliant episode and I will surely watch Maria+Holic from start to finish..

Ga-Rei-Zero - 9&10

Impression:
Poor Yomi, being stabbed by those spike like things and being crippled forever and also not being able to talk! What the heck? I feel so sad for her. While watching this I imagined myself in Yomi’s position, can’t move my body properly and can’t even talk. I had a reason to kill Mei but I can’t explain anything so it caused misunderstanding leading people to conclude that I killed her out of jealousy and rage. Feeling the doubtful stares of my very close comrades and sisters and eventually getting controlled by the Death Stone. How sad, feeling both pain physically and emotionally.

What the heck’s wrong with that butterfly boy touching Yomi inappropriately? All he had to do was to plant that Death Stone and that’s it but what’s with those touching? He really is a pervert and annoying boy. Woooo!!! Evil Yomi is here….can’t wait to watch her in the next episode. I really think that evil Yomi is sexier than the good counterpart.

Overall, a very emotional episode but whenever Yomi interacts with Kagura, my head keeps raising a Yuri flag.

Ga-rei-Zero - 10

Impression:
This episode connects episode 2 and I’m kind of disappointed that the only job of the anime original characters is to be killed by Yomi -_- (I would like to see Natsuki and her bike in action). At the beginning, Kagura as you expected whined about Yomi’s disappearance but I’ve gotten used to her whining so I wasn’t pissed at her that much. Then Yomi comes into the picture (naked but of course there were some unusual censorship) and killed her uncle. The 3D dinosaur also made an appearance that was like a clue that this episode was connected with episode two. Yomi started decapitating bodies and the most gruesome was when killed the guy who used suitcase as a weapon and I pity him for experiencing a very painful death (I forgot his name). What the….the censorship in this episode was so unusual and I’m wondering why they’ll censor that since there was already so much bloodshed in the entire episode.

Next episode there will seem to be a battle between Kagura’s father and Yomi. I can’t wait to see Byakuei in action so I’m hoping that there will be also a good dose of action next episode.

Overall, an episode filled with badass Yomi goodness, a good amount of action and gore. Oh God Yomi is so badass and sexy at the same time.

Btw, I've already finished watching episode 11&12 and I'm still on the process of writting it so I think I can't release it today, maybe tomorrow. After the release of 11&12 Toradora would be next. I've only been inactive for about 3 weeks and that left me so many things to blog so pardon me if the releases are slow. I think I can't release yet the 2008 Anime Top 5 picks 'cause I'm not yet finished watching the some of the shows last year. Gomen... :D

Midterms are almost over....blogging resumes

I apologize for not posting anything for the past two weeks. Several days before the exams are very hectic so I wasn't able to post anything. The last day of my exam would be tomorrow and I have to study now or else I'm toast. By the way, Blogging will resume as usual just after the exams.

I'll be posting a super late 2008 Anime top picks after I've finished Kurozuka, Ga-rei, Kannagi and True Tears. I'll resume blogging Toradora and maybe Clannad. I'll also post a super long Winter Impression.

Oh God Mariya is so damn hot even though he's a guy -_-....(he's the one on the pic above). So far, the best winter anime I'v watched would be Maria Holic and Ride Back. I'll be posting my impressions asap so watch out for it. :D
